Lahore: Federal Interior Minister Mohsin Naqvi visited the headquarters of Jamaat-e-Islami (JI) in Mansoorah, where he met with JI Chief Hafiz Naeem ur Rehman. The meeting focused on the country’s security situation and other matters of mutual interest.

- Law and Order: The interior minister emphasized that maintaining peace and security across the country remains the government’s top priority. Special attention was given to the situation in Balochistan, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, and particularly Kurram Agency.
- IPPs Agreements: Naqvi briefed the JI leader on the government’s agreements with Independent Power Producers (IPPs), highlighting efforts to ensure transparency and efficiency.
- K-Electric Concerns: Hafiz Naeem ur Rehman shared his concerns and suggestions regarding K-Electric’s operations and its impact on Karachi’s citizens.
