The Punjab Interior Department has initiated action against fake weapon license dealers and repairers. A case has been registered against 19 bogus dealers and repairers, and a ban has been imposed on their activities.
The cases have been filed under the Punjab Arms Ordinance of 1965, and investigations are underway. The department has released the names and addresses of illegal and fake weapon dealers and repairers. Punjab’s Secretary of Interior stated that any dealings with these individuals will be considered illegal, and action will be taken against those involved.
A zero-tolerance policy is being adopted against fake weapon licenses and counterfeit dealers. The Interior Department is currently verifying the documents of weapon dealers and repairers across Punjab.
