Srinagar (NNI) – In occupied Kashmir, Indian police raided the residence of martyred Syed Ali Geelani and seized his books and important documents. According to Kashmir Media Service, the raid took place in the Hyderpora area of Srinagar, where police officers confiscated Geelani’s books and other significant documents from his room. The police conducted the operation for over an hour, surrounding Geelani’s house.
The All Parties Hurriyat Conference strongly condemned the raid on Geelani’s residence. Additionally, Indian police also raided the office of Jammu and Kashmir’s Hizb-ul-Mujahideen movement in Hyderpora Mominabad, breaking into the office and seizing crucial documents.
In the past year, over 100 political and civil leaders’ homes have been raided, and more than 80 social organization offices have been targeted, with investigations into their funding sources.
