Delhi ( The COW News Digital )In a startling admission, Indian Deputy Army Chief Lieutenant General Rahul Singh acknowledged India faced not just Pakistan but two other countries during the recent conflict. Speaking at a defense event, Lt. Gen. Singh revealed that China and Turkey provided significant military support to Pakistan, complicating the battlefield dynamics for India.

According to Indian media reports, Lt. Gen. Singh stated, “We were fighting one enemy on the border, but in reality, there were three.” He accused China of directly sharing intelligence on Indian military installations with Pakistan throughout the conflict, although no concrete evidence was presented to support this claim.

Singh further detailed that during high-level talks between Indian and Pakistani military officials, including meetings at the Director General Military Operations (DGMO) level, Pakistani forces appeared to have comprehensive knowledge of Indian troop movements and readiness. He quoted a DGMO-level discussion revealing that Pakistan was aware not only of Indian troop movements but also of the operational status of key Indian military sectors.

Highlighting the role of Chinese military aid, Lt. Gen. Singh claimed that over the past five years, 81 percent of the weaponry and equipment Pakistan received were of Chinese origin. He suggested that China was using Pakistan as a testing ground for its weapons against Indian defense systems.

In addition to China, the Indian deputy army chief alleged that Turkey provided extensive assistance to Pakistan. He claimed Turkey had been supplying drones to Pakistan and recently included military experts to support their operations.

Admitting the shortcomings of India’s defense systems, Lt. Gen. Singh emphasized the need to learn from mistakes and upgrade military capabilities. He praised the Pakistani Air Force’s electronic warfare skills and acknowledged the effectiveness of Pakistan’s Al-Fateh rocket system during Operation Sandor, which inflicted considerable damage on Indian military bases.

In response to such accusations, Pakistan’s Defense Minister Khawaja Asif rejected all allegations, stating in an interview that it was Pakistan’s war and victory was “Made in Pakistan,” dismissing claims of foreign interference.

This candid revelation by India’s Deputy Army Chief sheds new light on the complexities of the recent conflict and highlights the geopolitical entanglements influencing South Asia’s security landscape.
