Peshawar: Mishal Yousafzai, spokesperson for Bushra Bibi, stated that former Prime Minister Imran Khan will be responsible for seeking accountability for the recent developments.
In a statement, Yousafzai clarified that Bushra Bibi neither chaired nor participated in the political committee meeting. According to Bushra Bibi, she was instructed by the PTI founder to reach D-Chowk, but upon arrival, the party leadership was absent.
Meanwhile, Bushra Bibi’s sister, Maryam Riaz Wattoo, revealed that although Bushra Bibi attended the political committee meeting, she was not formally invited. She added that Bushra Bibi appeared more disappointed than angry.
“When Bushra Bibi questioned why the leadership did not reach D-Chowk, Barrister Saif falsely claimed that the party founder had agreed to move towards Sangjani,” Wattoo disclosed.
The internal differences within PTI leadership are emerging as a critical issue amidst ongoing political unrest.
