Former Prime Minister Imran Khan has offered to apologize for the May 9 riots if evidence proves PTI supporters were involved in violent protests. He vowed to expel and prosecute those implicated by CCTV footage. Khan also sought an apology for being manhandled by Rangers personnel during his arrest on May 9.

The £190 million corruption case against Khan and his wife Bushra Bibi may conclude next week after the prosecution withdrew 14 witnesses. Khan’s legal team has filed an application seeking Bushra Bibi’s acquittal.

Khan reiterated his demand for a judicial commission to probe the May 9 violence, citing the PTI’s status as an aggrieved party. He also commented on the DG ISPR’s remarks about a mafia running a paid campaign against Pakistan, saying the establishment had previously narrated corruption stories about other leaders.
