Islamabad – PTI Chairman Barrister Gohar emphasized the importance of dialogue, stating that Imran Khan has consistently called for negotiations. Speaking to the media at the district courts, Barrister Gohar reiterated that discussions are necessary to resolve political issues.
During the interaction, Gohar revealed that a petition had been filed seeking discharge from the May 9 case, terming all cases against PTI leaders as fabricated. “All these cases are baseless, and we are confident of being acquitted in each one,” he stated.
Barrister Gohar also disclosed that PTI has submitted a petition against the Prime Minister and others, pointing out that incidents like these have occurred worldwide, but no bullets are fired during protests. “Here, tear gas was deployed even before the protesters had assembled,” he criticized.
Commenting on PTI’s stance on dialogue, Barrister Saif echoed the chairman’s sentiments, adding that political issues must be resolved through negotiations. “Imran Khan has previously stressed the need for dialogue. No preconditions have been set, but demands have been presented,” he clarified.
The chairman further highlighted that earlier attempts at negotiations were disrupted before reaching a decisive stage. “There is a proper way to register cases. Enough is enough—now the country must move towards improvement,” he asserted.
