Imam Masjid Al-Nabawi Arrives in Pakistan for 7-Day Official Visit

In a significant development, Imam Masjid Al-Nabawi, Dr. Salah bin Mohammad Al-Budair, has arrived in Pakistan for a 7-day official visit. He was warmly welcomed by Minister for Religious Affairs and Interfaith Harmony, Chaudhry Salik Hussain, Saudi Ambassador Nawaf bin Said Al-Malki, and other officials at Islamabad International Airport on Thursday.

During his visit, Imam Al-Budair will lead the Friday prayer at Faisal Mosque, a prominent religious landmark in Islamabad. He is also scheduled to meet with President Asif Ali Zardari, Prime Minister Muhammad Shehbaz Sharif, and other prominent leaders to discuss matters of mutual interest and promote religious and cultural cooperation between Pakistan and Saudi Arabia.

In addition to his official engagements, Imam Al-Budair will hold meetings with Pakistani religious scholars to exchange ideas and foster greater understanding between the two nations. His visit is seen as a significant step towards strengthening ties between Pakistan and Saudi Arabia, two countries that share deep historical and cultural bonds.

Meanwhile, the Ministry of Information and Broadcasting Islamabad organized a quiz show to commemorate the 78th Independence Day celebrations of Pakistan. The event was held at the Information Service Academy and was attended by students, teachers, and officials from various government schools and colleges.
