The International Cricket Council (ICC) has yet to respond to the Pakistan Cricket Board’s (PCB) inquiry regarding the absence of Pakistani officials at the Champions Trophy final.
Despite the presence of PCB CEO and Tournament Director Sameer Ahmed in Dubai, Pakistan was not represented during the trophy presentation ceremony of the prestigious tournament. The PCB raised the issue with the ICC, questioning why Pakistan was not included in the official representation at the final.
Sources indicate that, despite multiple reminders from the PCB, the ICC has not provided any explanation or response to the board’s concerns.
Pakistan had previously protested the lack of representation at the event, citing it as part of broader concerns over the ICC’s mismanagement during the tournament.
