The International Cricket Council (ICC) has released its latest rankings, with Fakhar Zaman making a notable rise despite being sidelined for several months.
According to the newly issued Test rankings by the ICC, Fakhar Zaman, who has not played for some time, has moved up one place to 17th position with 623 points.
In the Test rankings, Imam-ul-Haq, Mohammad Rizwan, and Saim Ayub retained their positions, ranking 20th, 22nd, and 23rd, respectively.
ODI Rankings: In One-Day International (ODI) rankings, Babar Azam continues to dominate, holding the top spot. Rohit Sharma and Shubman Gill are ranked second and third, respectively.
In ODI bowling rankings, Haris Rauf moved up to 18th position with 585 points, while Naseem Shah advanced to 50th and Wasim Junior climbed two places to 59th. Mohammad Nawaz remained in 72nd position.
Shaheen Shah Afridi dropped one place to 4th, with Sri Lanka’s Maheesh Theekshana taking the 3rd spot. Afghanistan’s Rashid Khan and India’s Kuldeep Yadav continue to hold the first and second positions, respectively.
T20 Rankings: In the T20 rankings, Babar Azam saw a significant rise, moving up 6 places and entering the top 10 alongside his teammate and wicketkeeper Mohammad Rizwan. Saim Ayub maintained his position at 57th.
Australia’s Travis Head holds the top spot, followed by England’s Phil Salt in second, and India’s Tilak Varma in third.
In T20 bowling, Shaheen Afridi climbed to 21st place, while Haris Rauf and Abbas Afridi dropped to 29th and 44th positions, respectively.
