The International Cricket Council (ICC) has fined Pakistan cricketers Shaheen Afridi, Saud Shakeel, and Kamran Ghulam for breaching the ICC Code of Conduct during a tri-series match against South Africa.
Shaheen Afridi has been fined 25% of his match fee, while Saud Shakeel and substitute player Kamran Ghulam have each been penalized 10% of their match fees. Additionally, all three players have received one demerit point.
According to the ICC, Shaheen Afridi deliberately obstructed South African batter Matthew Breetzke, making inappropriate body contact and engaging in an argument. Meanwhile, Saud Shakeel and Kamran Ghulam excessively celebrated a dismissal in close proximity to South African captain Temba Bavuma.
