IBA Sukkur Announces Results for MDCAT 2024

The Institute of Business Administration (IBA) Sukkur has announced the results of the MDCAT 2024, which was held for medical and dental college admissions across Sindh.

Examination Details:

The MDCAT exam was conducted on December 8, 2024, under the supervision of the SEBA Testing Service at various medical and dental colleges and universities in Sindh.

  • MBBS Success Rate: 42.59%
  • BDS Success Rate: 49.90%

  • Total Registered Candidates: 38,684
  • Candidates Present: 32,208
  • Candidates Absent: 6,476

    • MBBS: 36.19%
    • BDS: 43.56%
  • Public School, Hyderabad:
    • MBBS: 41.44%
    • BDS: 47.93%
  • Mehran University, Jamshoro:
    • MBBS: 36.32%
    • BDS: 43.32%
  • Quaid-e-Azam University, Nawabshah:
    • MBBS: 34.58%
    • BDS: 41.62%
  • IBA Public School, Sukkur:
    • MBBS: 38.01%

Incidents of Cheating and Fake Candidates: According to IBA Sukkur, five cases of cheating and three cases of impersonation were reported during the exam.

Success Criteria: The Pakistan Medical and Dental Council (PMDC) had set the passing criteria at 55% for MBBS and 50% for BDS. A total of 13,718 candidates passed in MBBS and 16,072 in BDS.
