Popular showbiz star Mathira has once again addressed the uncomfortable interaction of herself with social media sensation Chahat Fateh Ali Khan at her ’21mm Show’, where, according to her, the man allegedly ‘harassed’ her, which made her quite uneasy. Reflecting over the same lately, Mathira said: “I just did not like his touch.”
Mathira sat for an interview session with Metatainment, where she was asked regarding her controversial meetup and the issue with Chahat Fateh Ali Khan, to which she responded very calmly.
She said that it was a general interaction at the show and they were taking pictures casually, but the thing that caused a stir was the way he touched her. She added that she had met with thousands of people in her life, including girls, but did not feel such discomfort over being touched by anybody.
Mathira said that Chahat captured the whole scene on his camera from behind without any consent, which was quite weird, adding that she and the team did not like his action of sharing the video on his social media handle. They even warned him of backlash and criticism, but he took all of them lightly and uploaded the whole scene on social media.
She said that she invited him as a guest and gave him respect. Concluding the whole matter, Mathira said: “You cannot be rude to some people who are the senior citizens no matter how rude they be.”
In case the readers are not aware, singer Chahat Fateh Ali Khan had previously called out Mathira’s harassment allegations and warned her of legal action.
