Huawei to Empower 300,000 Young Pakistanis with ICT Skills

Huawei, a global leader in information and communications technology (ICT), has pledged to train 300,000 young Pakistanis in advanced ICT skills. This initiative, in collaboration with the Prime Minister’s Youth Program and the National Vocational and Technical Training Commission (NAVTTC), aims to enhance technical education and foster skill development in Pakistan.

The training program, guided by Prime Minister Mian Muhammad Shehbaz Sharif’s directives, will leverage Huawei’s global expertise and cutting-edge training materials. This strategic partnership is expected to substantially elevate the quality and reach of technical education throughout Pakistan, promoting innovation and skill development.

The initiative builds upon the foundation established during Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif’s visit to Huawei’s office in China, where he invited the company to invest in Pakistan’s taxation, e-governance, and Safe City projects.
