In a groundbreaking achievement, 28 female engineers have completed Pakistan’s first all-female solar installation project, shattering stereotypes and redefining the role of women in the country’s energy sector.

Led by trailblazers like Tara Uzra, Yousuf, Muskan Iqbal, and Iman Batool, the team installed a 24-kilowatt solar system on the roof of Karachi’s Hosseini Orphanage, making history and paving the way for future generations.

The project, implemented by LADIES Fund Energy, aimed to address the country’s energy crisis while empowering women to take on leadership roles in technical fields.
