Popular Pakistani actress Hira Mani has landed herself into hot water after comparing herself with Bollywood’s acclaimed star Kareena Kapoor’s iconic and lively character Geet from the super hit movie Jab We Met.
Hira Mani has lately appeared in a podcast session with renowned journalist Faridoon Shahryar, where the star was asked for a romantic-classic role that she believes she should have performed or that was suitable to her personality.
Hira asked the same from Faridoon, and he replied: “I think you could have performed ‘Jab We Met’ as it was quite similar to your personality.”
Hira approved Faridoon’s perception and added quickly: “You know people, my whole family and particularly my aunt think the same,” adding that she feels lively girl Geet, played by Kareena Kapoor in Jab We Met, is perfectly resembling to her nature.
The actress jokingly said that director Imtiaz Ali must have met her at some point and been inspired to fashion Geet after her temperament.
Admiring Kareena Kapoor’s acting power, Hira mimicked a few dialogues of hers from the movie.
