Heroic Excavator Operator Rewarded for Saving Family from Flood in Killa Abdullah

Mohibullah, an excavator operator from Killa Abdullah, has been hailed as a hero for his selfless act of saving a family of five stuck in a flash flood. He single-handedly carried out the rescue operation, putting his own life at risk, and has been rewarded with cash prizes and a scholarship for his son.

The Quetta corps commander awarded Mohibullah Rs0.5 million, while the Balochistan government announced a scholarship for his son under the Balochistan Education Programme. Additionally, Hilal-e-Ahmar Balochistan Chairman Abdul Wali Khan Ghabizai and Awami National Party member Zamrak Khan Achakzai announced Rs0.2 million each for the rescuer.

Mohibullah’s heroic act has been widely appreciated, and he has been recognized for his bravery and selflessness. When asked about his actions, Mohibullah said he was motivated by the sound of children crying and wanted to try and rescue the family, even if it meant risking his own life.
