KARACHI:( The COW News Digital)-Pakistani actress and producer Ayesha Omar has revealed that many people tried to cross boundaries with her when she entered the entertainment industry at a young age.
Speaking as a guest on a comedy show, Ayesha candidly discussed the struggles she faced in her early career. She said she was often not taken seriously because of her young age and playful personality.
The actress explained that several men attempted to overstep limits, and she had to appear strong so no one would mistake her for being weak. To deal with this, she adopted a “no-nonsense” attitude to make people respect her.
Ayesha added that after moving from Lahore to Karachi and living alone, this approach became even more necessary, as women living independently are often considered vulnerable. She also admitted to making some mistakes in her career, including hosting certain award shows for which she still hasn’t been fully paid.
