Attack forces convoy to return; third such incident in recent days
Peshawar:
A convoy of vehicles heading towards Parachinar was targeted by gunfire once again, forcing it to turn back. The incident occurred in the Alwair Kurram Bagan area, where a convoy of 35 vehicles was on its way to Parachinar when unknown assailants opened fire.
The convoy was forced to stop, and subsequently, the vehicles returned to their starting point.
According to sources, this was the third convoy traveling to Kurram district in recent days. Two earlier convoys had completed their journey without incident, but this convoy was attacked while en route.
