Governor KP Pays Tribute to APS Martyrs on 10th Anniversary

Peshawar (News Desk) – On the 10th anniversary of the tragic Army Public School (APS) attack in Peshawar, Governor of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Faisal Karim Kundi, paid tribute to the nearly 150 innocent children, teachers, and staff who lost their lives in the heart-wrenching tragedy. He expressed deep condolences to the families of the martyrs.

In his message, Governor Kundi said that this day reminds the nation of the immense sacrifice made by these innocent martyrs who fell victim to the brutality of terrorists while pursuing education. He reaffirmed that the nation stands united against terrorism and will never forget the sacrifices of the martyrs.

He described the incident as not only a painful tragedy but also a test of the nation’s resolve and courage. Despite the passage of ten years, the wounds of that day remain fresh in the hearts of the people. Governor Kundi emphasized that on this day, not only the parents but the entire nation’s heart was broken as innocent children were mercilessly killed. He expressed admiration for the strength and resilience of the mothers of the APS martyrs, saying that the people of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa and the entire country salute their courage.

Governor Faisal Karim Kundi concluded that the Day of APS Martyrs reminds us that education, peace, and progress are our true goals. He vowed to carry forward the mission of the martyrs and ensure a future where children can pursue knowledge without fear. This day serves as an opportunity to pledge that the fight against terrorism will continue, and Pakistan will be transformed into a haven of peace and prosperity.
