Google’s AI chatbot, Gmail Q&A, is now available on Android devices, allowing users to ask questions and surface information buried in their email inbox. The feature, which was previewed at Google’s I/O conference earlier this year, uses Gemini AI to help users find specific details in their emails, show unread messages, view messages from a specific sender, or summarize emails about a topic in their inbox.

Gmail Q&A is currently rolling out on Android and will be available on iOS soon. However, the feature is not available to all users; it requires a subscription to Google One AI Premium or a Google Workspace plan with the Gemini Business, Enterprise, Education, or Education Premium add-ons.

With Gmail Q&A, users can ask questions like:

  • “What’s the latest update on my flight reservation?”
  • “Show me all emails from John Doe”
  • “Summarize all emails about the project meeting”

Gmail Q&A has the potential to be a game-changer for managing your email inbox, making it easier to find what you need quickly and efficiently.
