Gold Prices Surge for Second Consecutive Day in Pakistan

KARACHI: Gold prices in Pakistan witnessed a significant increase for the second day in a row, according to the All Sindh Sarafa Jewellers Association.

The price of 24-karat gold per tola rose by PKR 1,000, reaching PKR 277,400, while 10 grams of 24-karat gold saw an increase of PKR 858, now priced at PKR 237,826. Similarly, the price of 22-karat gold per 10 grams climbed to PKR 218,007.

On the international market, gold prices also experienced a hike, rising by $10 per ounce to $2,662.

In contrast, the prices of silver remained steady, with one tola priced at PKR 3,400 and 10 grams at PKR 2,914.

It is worth noting that just a day earlier, 24-karat gold per tola had risen by PKR 2,000 to PKR 276,400, and 10 grams had increased by PKR 1,734 to PKR 236,698. The price of 22-karat gold per 10 grams had reached PKR 217,221.

This upward trend reflects ongoing volatility in both domestic and international markets.
