Karachi: Gold prices in Pakistan saw a major decline today, with the per tola rate dropping by Rs. 2,600.
According to the All Pakistan Gems and Jewellers Association, the new per tola price of gold stands at Rs. 273,900 after the decrease. Similarly, the price of 10 grams of gold has fallen by Rs. 2,029, now priced at Rs. 234,311.
In the international market, gold prices have also decreased, with a $26 drop bringing the rate to $2,631 per ounce.
This notable reduction in gold prices comes as a relief for potential buyers in the local market, aligning with trends observed globally.
