The price of gold in Pakistan has continued its upward trend for the third consecutive session, with a significant increase of Rs200 in the price of 24-karat gold per tola. According to the All-Pakistan Gems and Jewellers Sarafa Association (APGJSA), the new price of 24-karat gold per tola stands at Rs252,700.

In the local market, the price of 10 grams of 24-karat gold also witnessed a substantial increase of Rs172, reaching Rs216,650. Similarly, the price of 10 grams of 22-karat gold rose to Rs198,595. The international market also saw a rise in gold prices, with the rate per ounce standing at $2,390, after gaining $4 during the day.

Market analysts attribute the rise in gold prices to various factors, including fluctuations in the global market. The increase in gold prices has been a trend in recent sessions, with prices rising for the third consecutive session.

The stability in the price of 24-karat silver, however, provides some relief, remaining unchanged at Rs2,860 per tola. The rise in gold prices has been a concern for many, especially those looking to invest in the precious metal.
