The hearing of the GHQ attack case took place in the Anti-Terrorism Court, where Judge Amjad Ali Shah presided over the proceedings. During the hearing, charges were framed against Zain Qureshi, Raja Nasir Mahfooz, and Raja Shahbaz.
During the hearing, Prosecutor Syed Zahid Shah stated that Raja Shahbaz Tiger had submitted a Section 265-D request. He also mentioned that the NADRA chairman should be formally informed to block the identity card of the absconding accused, Mohammad Asim, and that a response should be sought from the Director General of Passport and Immigration.
The prosecutor further noted that the area under the jurisdiction of the court falls under the Punjab government, and the Home Department and High Court are the authorities responsible for obtaining CCTV footage.
On the other hand, the defense lawyer requested the court to provide CCTV footage of the proceedings related to the charges against PTI founder and Fawad Chaudhry.
After hearing the arguments, the court reserved its decision regarding the request for CCTV footage of the proceedings involving the PTI founder and Fawad Chaudhry. The hearing was adjourned until December 24.
