French National Arrested at Islamabad Airport with Drugs Hidden in Chocolate Packaging

According to the spokesperson of the Anti-Narcotics Force (ANF), anti-drug operations are ongoing across the country. In one such operation, the ANF at Islamabad International Airport seized a large quantity of drugs from a French national.

The suspect, who had arrived in Islamabad from India, was en route to Sri Lanka via Muscat. During the search, authorities found 1 kilogram and 58 grams of hashish hidden in the suspect’s bag.

The individual, who had entered Pakistan on a visit visa, was attempting to smuggle the drugs concealed within chocolate packaging.

Authorities have registered a case under the Anti-Narcotics Act and have begun investigations into the matter.
