Four new ministers to be inducted

It has been decided to expand the federal cabinet, with the possibility of including four new ministers.

According to sources, Hanif Abbasi and Dr Tariq Fazal Chaudhry from the Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PMLN), Khalid Magsi from the Balochistan Awami Party (BAP), and Mustafa Kamal from the Muttahida Qaumi Movement-Pakistan (MQMP) are likely to be inducted into the federal cabinet.

Sources indicate that Abbasi may be given the portfolio of the Ministry of Railways, while Dr Chaudhry could be appointed as the minister for national health services. Additionally,

Magsi is expected to take charge of the Ministry of Communications, and Kamal may be assigned the Ministry of Science and Technology.

Currently, the Ministry of Science and Technology is held by Khalid Maqbool Siddiqui, who also oversees the Ministry of Federal Education. Sources further state that the Ministry of Federal Education would remain with Siddiqui.
