Gilgit: A local court has sentenced former Chief Minister of Gilgit-Baltistan, Khalid Khurshid, to 34 years in prison for issuing threats to security agencies and the Election Commission.

According to Express News, the court also imposed a fine of PKR 600,000 on the former chief minister. Additionally, the court ordered his immediate arrest and detention, along with instructions to the Director General of NADRA to block Khurshid’s national identity card.
