Turkey: A tragic fire broke out in a hotel in northwestern Turkey, killing at least 10 people and injuring 32 others. The incident occurred in a multi-story building in the tourist area of Talcaya city.
According to foreign media reports, the fire started on the fourth floor of the 11-story building at around 3 AM. The flames rapidly spread to other floors, and firefighters have so far been unable to contain the blaze.
Hotel authorities revealed that two individuals attempted to jump from the building to escape the fire, but both tragically died in the attempt. At the time of the fire, more than 230 people were inside the building. The cause of the fire remains under investigation.
