Federal Interior Minister Mohsin Naqvi was warmly welcomed by Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Chief Minister Ali Amin Gandapur upon his arrival at the Chief Minister’s office. A meeting took place between the two leaders, during which they discussed the security situation in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa and measures to establish peace in Kurram.
Minister Naqvi assured the Chief Minister of full cooperation in maintaining peace, stating that the federal government would assist in enhancing the capacity of law enforcement agencies in the province. He emphasized that ensuring peace in Kurram is a top priority.
He further stated that consultations with all stakeholders are essential for taking measures to establish lasting peace in Kurram.
Both Naqvi and Gandapur paid tribute to the martyrs of law enforcement agencies who lost their lives in the fight against terrorism. They honored the martyrs’ sacrifices, calling them a source of pride. Chief Minister Ali Amin Gandapur remarked that the sacrifices of the martyrs are unforgettable, and together, they would confront the challenge of terrorism.
