Ex-U.S. Senator Bob Menendez Sentenced to 11 Years for Corruption

Former U.S. Senator Bob Menendez has been sentenced to 11 years in prison on corruption charges, according to international media reports.

Menendez, who previously represented New Jersey, was found guilty of accepting $1 million in cash, gold bars, and luxury vehicles as bribes.

The 71-year-old former senator was indicted last year by a Manhattan court on multiple corruption charges.
