Musk warned that the bill would significantly increase the national budget deficit by $3.3 trillion over the next decade, potentially plunging future generations into a cycle of debt slavery.
Musk, the owner of Tesla and SpaceX, voiced his concerns on the social media platform X, criticizing lawmakers for betraying public trust by approving measures that dramatically escalate the country’s debt. “Those members of Congress who have broken promises to the public by increasing national debt to record levels should be ashamed. If it’s the last thing I do, I will defeat them in the next election,” Musk declared.
He added, “If this bill is passed, the very next day the America Party will be launched. We need an alternative to the ‘Uni-party’ mentality represented by both Democrats and Republicans.”
