orbes has ranked Tesla and SpaceX owner Elon Musk as the richest person in the world, with his net worth surpassing $425.2 billion.
In its latest list of the world’s wealthiest individuals, Forbes placed Musk at the top, ahead of Amazon founder Jeff Bezos, who is ranked second with a net worth of $241 billion. Bezos founded Amazon in 1994, which has since grown into one of the largest e-commerce companies globally.
Mark Zuckerberg, the CEO of Meta, takes the third spot with a net worth of $217.7 billion.
Fourth place in the ranking goes to Larry Ellison, co-founder and Chief Technology Officer of Oracle, whose net worth stands at $209 billion. Ellison’s fortune had surpassed $228 billion in November 2024, making him a contender for the second spot, but he experienced a decline in his wealth in early December.
Ellison owns about 40% of Oracle and continues to serve as the company’s chairman, CTO, and co-founder.
