Eid ul-Fitr is being celebrated with religious fervor and enthusiasm across the country today.

On Sunday, the moon of Shawwal was sighted across the country. The official announcement of the sighting of the Shawwal moon and the celebration of Eid ul-Fitr was made by the Chairman of the Central Ruet-e-Hilal Committee, Maulana Abdul Khabir Azad.

According to Maulana Abdul Khabir Azad, testimonies of the moon’s sighting were received from various parts of the country.

After the sighting of the Shawwal moon, Eid ul-Fitr is being celebrated today with religious fervor and enthusiasm across the country.

Thousands of small and large congregations for Eid prayers are being held in cities and towns across the country, where special prayers will be offered for the unity of the Muslim Ummah, as well as for the safety, progress, and prosperity of the country.
