He emphasized the need for effective legal action against those spreading propaganda and fake news, particularly on social media.

Chaudhry also denounced the Baloch Yakjehti Committee as a “proxy of terrorist organizations and criminal mafias” and alleged that it was involved in defaming law enforcement agencies and spreading propaganda.

The DG ISPR briefed the nation on the country’s security situation, highlighting the success of counter-terrorism operations and intelligence-based operations conducted by security forces. He also announced that the banned Tehreek-i-Taliban Pakistan (TTP) would now be referred to as “Fitna al-Khawarij” and its members as “khariji” (outcasts).

Chaudhry paid tribute to the martyrs of the Pakistani security forces and reiterated the commitment to continue the fight against terrorism until the last terrorist is eliminated. He also highlighted the Pakistan Army’s involvement in socioeconomic projects, particularly in underdeveloped areas.
