Rawalpindi( The COW News Digital)Lieutenant General Ahmed Sharif Chaudhry, Director General of the Inter-Services Public Relations (DG ISPR), has asserted that all recent terrorism incidents in Pakistan are orchestrated through “negative intentions and resources” from India. He emphasized that the Pakistan Armed Forces possess full capability to counter and neutralize this proxy war with the support of the nation.
The statement came during a meeting between DG ISPR and a delegation from the Council of Pakistan Newspaper Editors (CPNE), led by Kazim Khan. The meeting highlighted the importance of youth as Pakistan’s national asset and the role of positive public outlook in shaping the country’s bright future.
Lieutenant General Chaudhry stressed that attempts to spread disillusionment in regions like Balochistan through negative propaganda would never succeed. “The patriotic and vigilant people of Balochistan are fully aware of these anti-national elements and their foreign sponsors,” he noted.
The DG ISPR also praised the Pakistani media for playing a responsible and constructive role in addressing the nation’s challenges. During the Operation of Truth (Maarka-e-Haq), the media not only demonstrated high journalistic standards but also effectively countered negative narratives propagated by Indian media.
The CPNE delegation commended the Pakistan Armed Forces for their exemplary performance during the operation. They noted that ISPR played a pivotal role in providing timely and credible information to counter the sensationalized reporting of Indian media. The delegation described Pakistan’s victory in the operation as the result of coordinated strategy between the government, military, and the nation.
DG ISPR reiterated that Pakistan’s security forces, backed by public support, are fully equipped to safeguard the country against proxy attacks and other threats. He emphasized that the nation’s unity and the positive mindset of its citizens are key to countering external interference and maintaining stability.
Observers say the statements underline Pakistan’s ongoing narrative regarding cross-border influences in terrorism while highlighting the central role of media in shaping public perception during security operations. The meeting with CPNE further emphasized collaboration between media institutions and security agencies to ensure accurate information dissemination and responsible reporting.
With tensions continuing along the border and ongoing efforts to combat terrorism domestically, Pakistan’s military remains steadfast in its commitment to national security and countering external threats.
