Details of Pakistan’s Security Forces’ Operations Against Terrorists and Kharijites in 2024 Revealed

Under the leadership of Army Chief General Asim Munir, Pakistan’s military has achieved significant successes in 2024 through a clear policy against terrorists and Kharijites, enhancing security operations throughout the year.

According to security sources, 59,775 successful intelligence-based operations were conducted during 2024, resulting in the killing of 925 terrorists, including Kharijites, and the arrest of hundreds of others.

Security sources further revealed that the Pakistani military, intelligence agencies, police, and law enforcement agencies have been conducting over 169 operations daily. Among the successful operations, 73 most-wanted terrorists were killed, including figures such as Fida Rehman alias Lal, Ali Rehman alias Taha Swati, and Abu Yahya.

Additionally, 14 wanted terrorists surrendered and joined the national fold, while two suicide bombers were apprehended, preventing a major disaster in the country.

The Army Chief has maintained a firm stance on terrorists, Kharijites, and their facilitators. Foreign media outlets have also praised the Army Chief for being a strong voice against terrorism.

The Army Chief emphasized Pakistan’s concerns regarding terrorist activities originating from Afghan soil, stating that the protection of a Pakistani life is a higher priority than Afghanistan’s sovereignty.
