Copenhagen (NNI): Denmark’s badminton star Mia Blichfeldt has raised concerns over the poor arrangements at the Indian Open held in India. According to Indian media, the world number 23 player criticized the poor condition of the Indira Gandhi Indoor Stadium in New Delhi, where the tournament was held.

Mia Blichfeldt not only expressed dissatisfaction with the stadium’s condition but also criticized the pollution in the city of Delhi. After her loss in the singles round on Thursday, she took to social media on Saturday to voice her frustrations. She also mentioned that she had fallen ill with a stomach infection during the trip.

This marks the second consecutive time she fell ill while touring India. It is not the first time international players have raised concerns about the arrangements in India. In 2023, players had questioned the poor facilities at the Babu Banarasi Das Stadium during another international tournament.
