Islamabad (NNI): The government has decided to expand the federal cabinet, and after completing consultations, the lineup of new ministers has been finalized. It is expected that the new ministers will take their oath today, Monday.
Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif has completed the necessary consultations regarding the cabinet expansion. Sources reveal that Dr. Tariq Fazal Chaudhry, Hanif Abbasi, and Talal Chaudhry are set to be appointed as federal ministers, while Dr. Tauqeer Shah is likely to be appointed as the Prime Minister’s advisor.
According to sources, the oath-taking ceremony for the three new ministers and the advisor is expected to take place on Monday. Currently, the federal cabinet consists of 18 members, while the total number of government portfolios is 33, which includes two ministers of state, three special assistants, and one advisor.
