The superhero sequel ‘Deadpool & Wolverine’ has maintained its top spot at the box office for the sixth consecutive week, earning $15.1 million in its sixth week and $19.5 million over the four-day Labor Day holiday weekend.
According to Box Office Mojo, the film has crossed the $600 million milestone at the domestic box office, becoming the 16th film to achieve this mark. Its domestic total now stands at $603.8 million, with a worldwide total of $1.3 billion.
Despite its success, summer box office numbers are significantly down from 2023. ‘Deadpool & Wolverine’ has topped the box office every weekend except its fourth frame, when ‘Alien: Romulus’ debuted with $42 million.
Other notable performances include ‘It Ends With Us’ holding third place with $7.42 million and the ‘Reagan’ biopic starring Dennis Quaid earning $7.4 million in fourth place.
