Crackdown on Smuggling Continues for Public Safety and Economic Stability

A nationwide crackdown on smuggling is ongoing to ensure public safety and a stable economy.

In the past week alone, authorities have seized 720 cartons of cigarettes, 452 fabric rolls, and 0.329 million liters of Iranian oil. Since September 1, 2023, a total of 13,471.5 metric tons of fertilizer, 3,792.13 metric tons of flour, 35,134.6 metric tons of sugar, 4,408,339 cigarette cartons, 158,452 fabric rolls, and 21.949 million liters of Iranian oil have been confiscated.

Law enforcement agencies remain committed to their efforts in combating smuggling to help steer the country through difficult times.
