The lack of interest from ministers in the National Assembly sessions continues, as no minister attended the house to respond during the question hour once again.

During the session, members of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) strongly protested against the absence of ministers, prompting the Deputy Speaker to temporarily adjourn the proceedings. Even after a half-hour wait, no cabinet member showed up, and when the session resumed, members of the Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP) also expressed their frustration over the ministers’ absence.

PPP’s Naveed Qamar emphasized that attending the house is a constitutional responsibility of the ministers and demanded a strict ruling on the matter. The Deputy Speaker responded by stating that a ruling was issued on the same issue the previous day, but it was ignored. He announced his intention to write a letter to the Prime Minister to address the matter.
