Rawalpindi: The situation regarding the meeting between Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) negotiation committee members and party founder Imran Khan has become somewhat confusing.

The issue of the meeting between the PTI negotiating committee and Imran Khan at Adiala Jail has fallen into a strange state of ambiguity, with conflicting statements emerging from both the party leaders and prison authorities.

Both sides have presented their respective positions on the matter. PTI’s lawyer, Faisal Chaudhry, stated that the committee would visit the jail only when invited by the authorities. On the other hand, jail sources have stated that they cannot grant permission for the meeting unless someone officially arrives to meet.

In the context of the ongoing situation, there was a lack of communication between the negotiating committee and jail authorities during the last meeting, and currently, the jail authorities are still waiting for the committee’s arrival, while the committee is awaiting an invitation from the authorities.

Jail sources have confirmed that, as of now, no party leader, lawyer, or family members have come to the jail to meet the PTI founder.
