In a speech delivered at an Ulema-o-Mashaikh convention in Islamabad, General Munir emphasized the need for tolerance and unity in society, urging scholars and clerics to reject extremism and corruption. He also reiterated the military’s commitment to protecting Pakistan, saying that no power in the world can harm the country.
The COAS’s comments reflect the military’s growing concern about the spread of misinformation and propaganda on social media, which has escalated in recent years.
