Land Acquisition to Begin Simultaneously on Both Ends
During a high-level meeting chaired by CM Gandapur, officials decided to begin land acquisition simultaneously from both Peshawar and D.I. Khan ends. The project, estimated to cost ₹348 billion, aims to connect seven districts of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, fostering regional integration and development.
Economic Milestone for the Province
Terming the Peshawar-D.I. Khan Motorway as the provincial government’s flagship initiative, CM Gandapur highlighted its significance for the province’s economic growth. He noted that the project would not only improve transportation infrastructure but also boost economic and business activities in the region.
Enhanced Connectivity and Employment Opportunities
The Chief Minister emphasized that the motorway would provide high-quality transport facilities, reduce travel time, and generate employment opportunities for locals. He directed relevant departments to collaborate and finalize practical proposals for the project to ensure its swift implementation.
The motorway, once completed, is expected to serve as a vital link between the districts, enhancing connectivity and contributing to Khyber Pakhtunkhwa’s overall development.
