Peshawar : The University of Peshawar’s annual Chrysanthemum and Flower Exhibition once again turned the administrative block into a colorful spectacle, creating a festive atmosphere that brought life to the campus. After four decades, the event gave a renewed and radiant charm to the administrative block.
The exhibition was inaugurated by Khyber Pakhtunkhwa’s Minister for Higher Education, Meena Khan Afridi, who officially cut the ribbon and toured the beautifully decorated flower stalls. During his visit, he lauded the aesthetic vision of Vice Chancellor Professor Dr. Muhammad Naeem Qazi and appreciated the relocation of the exhibition to the former parking shed area. He expressed hope that the event would foster and enhance students’ appreciation for art and beauty.
Afridi was particularly impressed by the professional designs and decorations crafted by students from the Department of Art & Design and the Zoology Department. He remarked that their skills would not only bring positive change in their surroundings but also contribute to the professional world, serving as a valuable asset to the nation.
Speaking to journalists at the event, the minister praised the University of Peshawar for its consistent commitment to healthy and productive activities. He expressed optimism that the university would continue implementing reforms to pave the way for a brighter future.
The exhibition showcased a vibrant mix of creativity, aesthetic brilliance, and floral beauty, drawing admiration from attendees and adding a splash of color to campus life.
