Viral sensation Chahat Fateh Ali Khan, known for his offbeat singing style, has hit back at critics by declaring himself “the best singer,” saying he doesn’t care whether people recognize his talent or not.
In a recent interview on a private TV channel, Chahat responded strongly to ongoing mockery of his music, claiming that many people are simply jealous of his popularity. “Some singers refuse to perform with me out of arrogance,” he said.
Chahat added that he produces his own music and that his viral hit “Bado Badi” is different from the original song, defending it against criticism. “Even legends like Noor Jehan and Mumtaz didn’t gain fame from just original content,” he said, arguing that his song is meant especially for women.
Dismissing public ridicule and social media jokes, Chahat stated, “People ask me foolish questions. I’m doing what makes me happy — critics can keep criticizing, it makes no difference to me.”
