According to Arab media, Qatari Prime Minister Sheikh Mohammed bin Abdulrahman met with Hamas and Israeli delegations. The Hamas delegation, led by Khalil al-Hayya, informed Qatari and Egyptian mediators of their agreement to the ceasefire deal.
On the other hand, Israeli media reports that the Israeli Prime Minister is in continuous contact with the negotiating team in Doha, while the Israeli military has begun withdrawing from the southern Gaza Rafah corridor.
The ceasefire process in Gaza will occur in three stages. In the first stage, 33 Israeli and 50 Palestinian prisoners will be released. Israel will withdraw its forces from the Rafah corridor in Gaza, and the Israeli military will retreat from Gaza’s civilian areas and the Rafah border.
The second stage will begin 16 days after the ceasefire, during which further steps will be taken for the release of additional prisoners. The third stage will focus on the reconstruction of Gaza and the resolution of administrative matters.
