Careem, the leading ride-hailing service in Pakistan, has launched a new feature allowing users to schedule rides in advance. The “Later Booking” feature enables customers to book rides at least two hours prior, ensuring a reliable vehicle is available at their preferred time.
This feature is particularly useful for students, office-goers, airport rides, and events. To schedule a ride, users simply open the Careem app, select their preferred ride type, and choose their desired time from the “NOW” dropdown menu.
The system includes multiple checks to ensure a smooth journey, including confirming captain readiness, providing a 15-minute waiting period, and offering the best vehicles.
Careem’s General Manager, Imran Saleem, stated, “We understand the unique challenges of our market and strive to introduce features that simplify and improve people’s lives. The Later Booking feature meets the needs of our customers, whether it’s a student or professional, and simplifies their lives.”
In addition to Later Booking, Careem offers a “Premium 5 & 10” service, allowing users to book rides for extended periods, such as five hours or a full day.
