The Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) has announced the captains and provisional squads for the Champions One-Day Cup, a 50-over tournament featuring the country’s top cricketers. The tournament will be held in Faisalabad from September 12 to 29.
The five teams, led by experienced captains, are:
- Dolphins – Saud Shakeel
- Lions – Shaheen Shah Afridi
- Panthers – Shadab Khan
- Stallions – Mohammad Haris
- Wolves – Mohammad Rizwan
Each team includes centrally contracted players and was selected through a draft process from a pool of 150 players. The squads will be reduced to 15 players on September 10.
The tournament will be played in a single-league format, with all matches starting at 3 pm except for one match on September 16, which will begin at 9:30 am. The final will be played on September 29.
